First home buyers have received an enormous affordability boost with the announcement by the Prime Minister that the First Home Buyers Grant will be tripled, taking it from $7,000 to $21,000 for eligible home buyers buying newly constructed homes. And the state government is adding a further $3,000, bring the total grant to $24,000.
